Mike is so easy to work with and really listened to our wants and needs. His advice on showing the house was spot-on and helped us get a great price. The support staff was also excellent—super fast responses and zero issues with the paperwork. We will definitely be using Mike again!

I would not recommend Homestead Realty to anyone looking for a home. Initially, I was not going to write a review. However, I changed my mind after a phone call I had with AnaCristina from the Wauwatosa branch. I had Michael Schields assisting my wife & I with finding/buying our first house. I ran into a few problems with Michael: He did not verbally acknowledge we'd be signing a 8 month agency agreement when we placed an offer on a house, the amount he wrote on an offer for the house was $4,000 more than what we verbally agreed on, he asked & held onto excessive banking information of mine, was not upfront with my wife & I about closing costs & other financials, and lastly stopped responding to me for two days once I asked for a mutual termination of the agency agreement. I had to call the Wauwatosa branch to get a hold of Michael's broker to make them aware of these issues and that we wanted to terminate our agreement, so we could work with another realtor. AnaCristina was nice and understanding at first, but became very defensive during our second phone call. She was defending the poor actions of Michael and went as far to accuse me of lying about certain situations that took place with Michael. Overall, Homestead Realty did not provide a helpful, effective, and comfortable service. All of that is critical for ANY buyer, but especially for young first time buyers like myself. Please DO NOT risk using this agency for a big purchase like a house. It’s clear they don’t care about you or prioritize your best interests.

Mike was so great to work with! He was extremely professional and worked so hard to find a p house that met all of our needs. He had great communication throughout the process. I would recommend him to anyone.

We used AnaCristina Rodriguez-Ross from Homestead Realty both to buy our new house and to sell our old one. She was a strong negotiator and got us an accepted offer on the third house she showed us. AnaCristina then sold our old house for 25k over asking within 48 hours of putting it on the market! We enjoyed working with her and recommend her to anyone buying/selling in the Greater Milwaukee area.
