Asia helped me tremendously with buying my new home. She especially guided me through purchasing an IZ unit, which many people have limited knowledge about. We were privileged to have Tracey Barnett as our Realtor and strongly recommend her to anyone interested in buying or selling a home in DC, Maryland or northern Virginia. From our very first meeting, Tracey’s personal warmth, expertise and professionalism wowed us. She listened carefully to our needs and interests and immediately came up with a plan to look at houses in the Maryland neighborhoods we liked. Her initial search parameters or so attuned to our needs, and her area expertise so highly developed, that we ended up buying the second house we looked at. When we were in the middle of finalizing the contract, we had to go out of town on a long-planned trip. While we were away the loan underwriters took an interest in some of the repairs that Tracey negotiated. This development required a change in tactics by convincing the owner to undertake the repairs very quickly. Tracey expertly handled this second round of negotiations with the lender and listing agent as we essentially just watched. Tracey’s finely tuned negotiating skills saved the day and brought the contract to completion. After closing, Tracey continues to assist us by recommending contractors and services.
