Steve Agostino is lazy. He barely lifted a finger to sell our place so we replaced him. Didn't even bother to use spell check on the listing write up. Poor performance.

I had a smooth buying experience with Ben Gordimer. I shopped around for a couple of realtors before sticking with Ben because he went above and beyond to make this as stress free as possible. He was very responsive, and he worked around our schedule. Sometimes I sent him questions after normal business hours closed, and I would receive a response before the start of the next day. He was very friendly throughout the entire process, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home.

M husband and I recently bought a house with one of the best Real Estate Agents, Maureen Andary. She was a very supportive agent with lots of knowledge and passion. We are truly grateful to her and the Compass team for helping us close on our dream home within weeks of placing an offer. We had a tough competitor but Maureen ensured we made the best offer possible so that the seller would accept. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the near future. Benjamin Gordimer avoid at all cost, especially if you are a first time home buyer. Make sure you read any contract you have with him because each transaction has their own clauses. I felt bullied into a purchase since there was a clause which is not standard or beneficial to the buyer. Make note of all contengiences and at closing their is no out by just losing your earnest money. There were details which were not made available to me and really a seasoned buyer would know to check especially living in DC where the motive is always money. Do not expect him to put forth the effort. I initially went with him because he went above and beyond but that was only to make a sale. After signing for a home I rather not have but due to a clause I have never seen before even though I did a transaction in other places and had no issue backing out if I did not feel comfortable. He asked me to take the metro home. How classy get your commission and then remove yourself. I did try to share my confusion and disappointment with him and he dismissed me saying it is all standard. I just wanted to let him know if he should ever have another buyer who felt the same way. He was constantly talking about his gas and how he pays for everything which indicates he is not ready for the field he chose. Made me question his intentions and ultimately I regret working with him. I place warning should you place your life savings or retirement on the line he is not going to get you a deal for your lifestyle and knows nothing about investment properties. His approach it is all on you but fails to realize why does anyone need him the agent then.

Ben Gordimer has gone above and beyond to help me find a place to purchase. When the deal almost fell through due to a financing issue with my first lender, he was able to help me find an alternative lender to keep the deal alive. Meanwhile, he is extremely friendly and has made himself extremely accessible to help answer any questions I have about the entire process. I will recommend my friends to use Ben for real estate purchases and sales.
