The best experience I have ever had working with a realtor! We had some key items that we were looking for when choosing to sell our home in Hyattsville, MD. Randy Livorsi and Daren Phillips, 2 Rivers Team We originally chose Randy and Daren to sell our condo as we had known them casually as neighbors when they lived in our building, and they always seemed busy! We did not know just how good they were until we hired them. We had sold property before in other states, and with decent if unremarkable representation. But from the day we engaged them, Daren and Randy performed far above our expectations. Despite a challenging market, the two were never anything but upbeat and positive. Not only did we receive detailed weekly updates, both written and verbal, on every showing and possible buyer, but also on the local market and their plans for the following week. Every text and email we sent was responded to immediately, every question and concern answered. Moreover, we were selling from a distance, having already moved out of the city, and the team not only helped us liaise with vendors during a renovation, but were on site to receive new appliances, oversee flooring and painting and liaise with building management. All this they offered to do, allowing us a peace of mind we would not otherwise have had during a difficult moving process. To say that they went above and beyond is an understatement. Yet if there is one thing that stands out for me, it would be their creativity. Their marketing and social media use was perfectly suited to our property — they knew exactly who our ideal buyer was and how to reach them. So for sheer professionalism, know-how, and unflagging attentiveness to their clients, we can recommend Randy and Daren unreservedly. The fact that they are also lovely people is just a bonus!

We had an incredible experience working with Randy and Daren from the 2 Rivers Team. We were looking to move from a townhome to a larger home in Hyattsville, and as Hyattsville residents themselves, their deep knowledge of the local market made all the difference. From the very beginning, they listened carefully to us and understood exactly what we were looking for. They were consistently communicative, honest, and thoughtful in their guidance. As we toured recently flipped homes, they helped us look beyond cosmetic updates and really focus on the “bones” of each house, offering expert advice that gave us confidence in our decisions. When we were unsure whether to buy a more renovated home or take on a potential tear-down, they went above and beyond—connecting us with an architect to talk through what a project like that would involve, and even putting us in touch with someone who had successfully taken on a similar project. It was clear they were fully dedicated to making sure we were as informed as possible, no matter which direction we chose. When we found our perfect house, they expertly guided us through negotiations and helped seal the deal. They are truly incredible to work with, and when we move into our new place, we fully plan to rely on their expertise again to help us sell our current home. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Randy and Darren were more than just our realtors, they helped us in all aspects of our move. We’re a retired couple looking to move from a suburb near Nashville to an urban setting in the Hyattsville/Takoma Park area to be closer to our kids/grandkids. They went way beyond just talking floor plans and yards, they were sure we understood the neighborhoods, parks, biking opportunities, local clubs all of which were important to us. Our list of wants was lengthy (bordering on ridiculous) but Randy and Darren were patient with us and in the end we found our unicorn house! Once we found the house, we discovered they had wonderful contacts throughout the market and were able to help us with finding inspectors, insurance agents, mortgage companies all of whom were top notch.
