Ryan helped us find the perfect second home in Seattle while living in Virginia. We knew nothing about Seattle’s real estate market. Ryan was honest, patient, and kind in helping us assess properties. He guided us towards the best strategies in getting exactly the place we wanted. We felt confident in our purchase back in March, even though we never saw the home in person. Finally able to get away for the Memorial weekend, we are blown away by how beautiful our townhome is! Our “second home” search started in December 2025 with a Zoom call with Ryan. From the start, he made our remote situation feel completely manageable. My wife and I are in Virginia, and our son is in Seattle. Ryan structured everything around that reality: setting up our Compass search so we could follow along from the East Coast, connecting us with a trusted local lender, and sending our son neighborhood research to find the right areas to focus on. Ryan toured properties with our son through January and February, keeping us looped in every step of the way. He was honest, strategic, and proactive, advising us when to pass on a property and when to take a look. When the property we eventually purchased popped up, he encouraged us to act quickly, and we got mutual acceptance without my wife or I ever having seen the home in person, only through FaceTime. Matt and Marta then helped with the logistics and closing coordination, including weekly updates, appraisal tracking, vendor recommendations, and utility setup. On closing day, Marta kept us updated in real time until the keys were in our son’s hands. When we finally made it to Seattle over Memorial Day weekend to see the home for the first time, we were so happy, which said everything about how well Ryan knew what we were looking for.
