Jackson Orr 9 months agoTricia herself is great — no complaints there. But when I moved in, my fridge was literally crawling with roaches and so was the home. I have plenty of video proof, but apparently that still wasn’t enough for the company to replace it or for the owner to step up. So I got to live with dead roaches in my fridge for the entire lease. Fun times. Also if you miss a payment by a week or less you can no longer use their online portal to make payments, making you even later. They also got rid of their drop box at their property. Be very careful when signing their lease. They’ve got some sneaky early termination clauses buried in there. If you try to leave early, you’re hit with a $500 fee, and you’re still responsible for rent until a new tenant is found. The catch? They drag their feet posting the listing and don’t advertise it properly on other sites, so you’re basically stuck paying while they take their sweet time. Once you sign, you’re locked in, buddy. And good luck getting your deposit back. I will be paying $250 for cleaning and for dryer cleanout, and another $500 to break the lease, and it’s been nothing but hoops to jump through. Proceed with caution.
Antonio Ozamiz 10 months agoA coworker told me about his experience looking for a house with Mr. Mike Steele, and I didn't hesitate for a moment! The connection was immediate: he had a tremendous personality, was very attentive to detail, and quickly understood what we were looking for. He proved to be completely trustworthy by always providing us with his sincere analysis of every aspect of each house we considered. From day one, you realize he's a tremendous professional with an erudite and thorough knowledge of his profession. Finally, one day after we had already visited two houses (which we liked), Mike insisted on seeing a third, which was the one we ultimately purchased! We still can't believe what a wonderful house we found, given the tough market. We will always be grateful to Mike for insisting on seeing that third house. We've also learned a lot. Eternally grateful.
Tri Pham a year agoHere was an example of my experience at the closing step of process. I bought a Suffolk house recently. Jennifer Ziemer was the listing agent for the Real Estate Group. Nate Carl was my selling agent for Keller Williams Elite 757. They didn't bring the house keys to test at the final walkthrough. On the closing day, Nate gave me the keys so I could enter my house. None of them could open the main door with deadbolt because they were keys for door knobs around the house. He said I could just use the code to enter house since it was the smart lock. I don't trust technology because it can fail. Anyone buys a house or a car they expect to have at least the key to the main entrance. I asked either Nate or Jennifer needed to fix the problem by sending the locksmith to rekey the lock if the seller didn't have it. Instead, the listing agent, Jennifer said that she found the key and gave it to me 3 days later. After a week, it was still not the right key. They both got 3% commission ($17,000) and they couldn't send a locksmith to come to generate the key to make their customer happy. They both failed to pay attention to details to test the keys before delivering the house to the customer. They didn't even bother to give us the garage remotes so we could move in our stuffs until we asked at the closing day. They said they forgot to ask the seller. Now the seller was in Texas to mail us the remotes. It was a week now that we didn't even have our garage remotes. It was rough buying experience for us and how careless the agents were. We had so many things to start and move at the new house and we didn't have basic accesses delivering to us. We didn't feel safe in our own house because we knew our main key and garage remotes were out there, not in our possession. I called The Real Estate Group to demand to talk to Jennifer's managers since she was responsible to deliver keys and remotes to the buyer. None of them (Lisa and/or Steven) returned my calls. Will you trust these agents in the Real Estate Group and Keller William Elite 757 to represent you and do you think that they will deliver what a standard professional realtor does and works on your behalf? Do they show that they thoroughly care for customer or rushing to the closing time to get their commission with no warranty on their work? Do they care about customer satisfaction (they don't send any emails for feedback or evaluation about their performance)? Do they care about your safety and health?
Kellie Clark a year agoSara helped us find the perfect home. My family was nervous about our move to Virginia Beach from Texas, but as soon as I had my first call with Sara, I knew we were in good hands. Working with her was like working with an old friend. I knew she was looking out for us, she was easy to talk to, and she went above and beyond to help us with buying our home. We are so very grateful for all of her help.
Chris Ross 2 years agoLisa Chandley from The Real Estate Group has managed our property for over 6 years and has flawlessly made our experience a great one since the beginning of deciding to move forward with renting. She's very proactive and handles any issues very expediently once they are identified. Her relationship with the tenant and any contractors was top notch, and the work being performed was 100% coordinated and executed to our standards, and I couldn't have asked for a better result. I highly recommend her services and that of The REG!!
