I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Sydney and open house Austin. We were first time home buyers and Sydney made the process approachable by guiding us each step of the way. We had a relatively low budget, but always felt like we were a priority. Sydney was flexible with taking us on tours and submitting offers quickly. We really appreciated the tremendous amount of knowledge that she has about houses themselves! She was able to let us know about different home systems and materials in each house we toured and her info helped us understand things better and make decisions along the way. She was also helpful in sharing referrals and advocating for us with everyone we encountered along the way. I appreciate her patience with my random texts at all hours (sorry!) and we never felt pressured by her. We always felt like she was on our team and wanted us to find the right house for us no matter how long it took. Not only is Sydney professional, knowledgeable, and skilled, but she is also so personable and bubbly. She kept the process feeling positive and fun along the way. We will 100% work with Sydney again in the future and will be recommending her to everyone we know!

I found Open House Austin through a friend who showed me their Instagram, and I ended up signing up for one of their home buying workshops. The workshop was super affordable, relaxed, and welcoming. There was pizza, drinks, and just a really comfortable vibe while they walked us through who they are and how they support first-time buyers. It made the whole idea of buying a home feel much less intimidating. After that, we started working with Jennifer as our realtor and she was absolutely amazing. She was realistic in the best way, which is exactly what we needed. On every tour, she pointed out the concerns we should pay attention to but also made sure we didn’t miss the good things each home offered. She asked thoughtful questions that helped us narrow down what we really wanted, and her knowledge was unbelievable. We realized right away that she truly had our best interest in mind. Whenever family or friends tried to remind us of something important, it turned out Jennifer had already covered it with us. Her communication was wonderful, she always answered my questions, and she made us feel completely supported through every step. Thanks to her dedication and hard work, we found an amazing home. We’re so grateful for everything she did for us and couldn’t recommend her or Open House Austin more.

We had such a great experience with Sydney on our home buying journey. From our first conversation with her at an Open House home buying workshop, Sydney was thoughtful and curious about us and our story. When we reconnected with her months later, worried about our timing entering the home buying market, she reassured us and gave us all the info we needed to make us feel comfortable and supported as first-time homebuyers. She never made us feel like we asked silly questions and she was extremely supportive and knowledgeable, asking us questions to help us figure out what we wanted, and always checking if we wanted her opinion before sharing (we always did!). We ended up with a house that we were excited about that met all our needs and felt right. Sydney joined us for open houses, accompanied us through the signing process, and generally made buying our first home a truly pleasant experience, and we would gladly recommend her and her team.

We are first-time homebuyers who attended a workshop with Open House back in February. After getting things together, we reached out to them in August and closed on our home in September. We had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Carey who has provided such amazing help and guidance along the way! Buying a home can be a daunting step to take but we were at ease and excited the whole way through, and that's 100% due to the support we received from Jenn and Open House. Cannot recommend them enough 🫶

Open House Austin was absolutely incredible to work with! We started by attending one of their first time homebuyer seminars, and we learned so much. After shopping around, we really found that they made us feel the most confident in our home buying ability. We schedule an appointment with Jennifer, who gave us so much great information and started us on our home buying journey. The work Jennifer did was incredible, she was extremely communicative and always ready to help or meet us for a new house tour. All the way through close, Jennifer was there every step of the way offering her expertise and experience. She gave us wonderful recommendations for every aspect of the home buying, and never pushed us to make any one decision. And in the end, we found a house we love for a great price and we couldn’t have done it without Open House Austin! We could not recommend them more highly and will definitely be working with Open House Austin again for our future home buying and selling needs!
