I have lived here for two years and will not be renewing my lease. The apartments look amazing inside and out and the amenities are decent. The location of the apartment is good. The front staff are very nice as well. However, the cons heavily outweigh the pros. During my two years here the security has went downhill. The parking garage gate and most of the exterior doors are constantly broken allowing anyone to come in and out. I have had my car stolen from the parking garage. I have also witnessed individuals trying to break into peoples car during the day. Many cars in the parking garage get vandalized or stolen. The cameras throughout the garage do not work and the complex is not helpful when it comes to fixing them or the doors. The cops are constantly being called to the complex for car vandalism, theft, and suspicious individuals. During the weekends trash is constantly overflowed on the ground in the back of the parking garage and middle of the parking lot. The complex also does not do anything about trash being left for days in front of individuals doors which create an unpleasant smell in the hallways. Weed smells in hallways and around the complex are very constant. Every winter multiple apartments have their pipes burst due to the winter storm despite precautions being taken. For the price of the apartment it is not worth the lack of peace. There are many other complexes in the area that provide better security and overall upkeep for a better price. I can not wait for my lease to be over.

Living at this apartment complex was a constant headache. From the start, there were numerous issues that made the experience incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The garbage area was often overflowing, with trash piling up for days at a time — not only an eyesore but also a health hazard. Security was also a joke: doors that were supposed to be accessible only via fob were either broken or left wide open, completely defeating the purpose of controlled access. The management’s communication (or lack thereof) was one of the worst parts. We had a water leak in our unit that took three months to fix. During that time, there was no schedule or heads-up from maintenance — they would just barge into the unit unannounced. When I finally emailed to express my concerns, I received a response claiming they had called ahead, which was completely false. To top it off, when we moved out, we were only refunded $60 of our $500 deposit. The office claimed we owed an extra day of rent because our lease ended on a Sunday — when their own office is closed — and we returned the keys the next business day (Monday). I called to dispute the charge and was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. Avoid this place if you value your time, your security deposit, or basic communication from property management

I’ve had such a great experience living here! The community is well-maintained, quiet, and feels very welcoming. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the amenities are always kept in great condition. I especially want to give a big shout-out to Sydney, the community manager. She always goes above and beyond to help residents, whether it’s answering questions, resolving concerns, or just making sure everyone feels at home. Her professionalism and friendly attitude truly make a difference in the community.

I lived at the Roosevelt at Arlington Commons for 2 years. The gym and pool were great, had everything I needed, and the apartment was nice too. Maintenance was prompt. When I had concerns, Onisha at the leasing office always took care to assist me with them. She is an amazing part of the Roosevelt Arlington team, and I strongly recommend working with her as much as possible. Onisha always went above and beyond to take care of my requests and follow up with me. The Roosevelt is consistently working to upgrade its facilities and I was impressed by this during my time there.

Please beware of the office staff making accounts to leave 5 star reviews. The apartments are beautiful on the inside but the outside is a different story. Cars are constantly being broken into throughout the property. I have called the cops twice after I’ve witnessed individuals trying to break into cars during the day. The fire alarm goes off all hours of the day disturbing residents. The hallways and stairs are filled with a trash smell. Trash is constantly being left all over the property. The cameras on the property do not work and if something happens with vehicle or property the staff will not help. I wish I would have listened to the reviews before moving in. The staff ask individuals touring to leave good reviews so beware of those as well. Many people are moving out of this complex.
