Joy is absolutely the BEST realtor. She is so kind, professional and patient! She went above and beyond and would even entertain our daughter while my husband and I had serious talks and one last walk through of properties we were interested in. She made sure to ask how this property worked or didn’t work for our family. She knew what type of property to keep her eye out for after just seeing a couple of houses. She has such an amazing team as well as trustworthy and knowledgeable experts in inspection and roofing. She goes above and beyond and I couldn’t imagine this process without her.

We had a great experience with Joy from the days of looking for the right place, until we closed on a property earlier this year. She was very patient with us on the journey. We very much cared about the quality of the homes we looked at, and she made that a priority, too. We’ve worked with other realtors that just want to tell you what you want to hear so that you’ll buy the property, but this is not Joy. She has honesty and integrity and is willing to assist in every way possible. We highly recommend Joy!

I purchased a home listed by Joy on March 22, 2022. My broker worked everything out with her brokerage and contracts were signed. I made wire that same day for purcahse of the property. 2 days later someone from her brokerage calls and says the sellers dont want to sell the house and that they have an emotional attachemnt to it. This didnt make sense and we said let them sit on it for a while as we had a contract in place. Then with no response from them we find out that home has been relisted and has a pending sale on it. Her brokerage not only lied but also did not follow industry standards because they recieved a higher offer after accepting ours. Very questionable ethics, will not be doing business with Engel & Volkers and a warning to other potential customers.
