Callie has been an incredible buyers agent. I was thinking about buying a home for a long time. I requested to see a home on Zillow and she reached out immediately and set up the showing. I wasn’t ready to commit just yet. She was diligent and polite about reaching out every few months to check in. She is patience and was very thorough about helping us as first time buyers to look out for important things as we toured several more homes. When we finally found the one she was there every step of the way throughout the negotiation and inspection process. Callie even checked in about our move-in after closing. The concierge service was also great for getting utilities and internet setup. Thank you!

We chose Perry Butler with Better Homes and Gardens because he initially seemed friendly, trustworthy, and professional. At the beginning of the process, things went smoothly. However, once we entered negotiations, his demeanor began to change. During that period, Perry made a rude comment saying he was “beating a dead horse” while trying to explain something to us, which felt dismissive and unprofessional—especially since we were first-time homebuyers and simply trying to understand the process. He also told us he was receiving a $2,000 bonus from the builder and claimed he was trying to apply it toward our closing costs. In hindsight, this felt more like a performance to make it seem as though he was advocating for us rather than genuinely doing so. After we signed the contract, his attentiveness dropped significantly. Communication became inconsistent, and he was often unreliable. The supportive and helpful attitude he had initially completely disappeared once the deal was secured. At closing, he was cold, disengaged, and arrived empty-handed. While a closing gift is not required, he specifically told us to text him once we were settled and that he would send one. Given that he had gone out of his way to mention the bonus he received from our sale, this felt especially disappointing. We reached out a month after closing to let him know we were settled in because he asked us to do so, and he completely ignored us. We were very decisive buyers—we viewed homes for only two days and made a quick decision, which made this process relatively easy. The only reason we asked questions was because this was our first home purchase, and we expected guidance, not irritation or neglect. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend Perry Butler to friends or family. As a young couple with many friends preparing to buy homes, this was a missed opportunity to build long-term client relationships.
