I was a resident of the Beacon apartments for a year and can definitively say it was the best experience I have ever had while renting. The staff, particularly Gabby and Diana, made my experience amazing. The environment of the building is warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed having conversations with Gabby and Diana each morning on my way to work. Any maintenance issue that I had with my unit, though exceedingly rare, was handled immediately and with thorough communication. I also felt incredibly safe in the building and all of my neighbors were kind and respectful. Additionally, I am a pet owner and the apartment building was very dog friendly, with a nice pet area that was always clean and pleasant. I cannot recommend the Beacon at South Market enough and encourage anyone interested to book a tour and check it out!

The Beacon is great. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Gaby made our move easy and painless. There is a dog park and private resident space that is nice for outdoor dining. The loading dock is a big help when we have a load of items to bring in. The views are amazing at night. And the maintenance guy, pretty sure his name is Henry, is the coolest ever and also is friendly. Rouses is right across the street if you need groceries. Lots of walking distance restaurants and things to do.

Living at the Beacon has been a clean, safe, and enjoyable experience. The building often hosts fun events that welcome all residents, creating a warm and lively community atmosphere. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, and the staff is always responsive and helpful. The front desk team truly makes a difference. Diana stands out with her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist at any time. Gaby was incredibly responsive and made my move-in process smooth and stress-free. Melissa also does a great job at the front desk and is always friendly and welcoming. Overall, the Beacon is definitely a great place to live!

Living at the Beacon continues to be a great decision each year. The location is ideal for attending events throughout the city, especially events down the street at the Superdome and Smoothie King. It has been very convenient as a student with the proximity to downtown schools and other training facilities. Additionally, I have always felt safe in this area at all times. The best part about living here is the staff: our front desk concierge Diana is very nice, welcoming, and willing to assist you to the best of her abilities every time; Gaby and Melissa create a smooth and stress-free leasing process; they are both welcoming and there to address any questions you have. Its a home away from home with this trio. The maintenance staff have been prompt at attending to service requests. Overall would recommend living here.

I have loved living at the Beacon. The management team takes such good care of the property. They are always quick to address any maintenance issues and do so efficiently and with great care. Being in a building downtown has been great. The South Market neighborhood has so much to offer. There are many great restaurants and festivals that are walking distance. You are a couple of blocks away from the St. Charles Street car and major parade routes. CVS and Rouses make daily essentials easy to get. And if you receive deliveries, there is now an easy to use facetime option for the front door. You can see who is calling you to be buzzed in and you can allow entry via your phone. There is also an amazing package locker system for your deliveries. The bike room is so convenient for securing your bike in a location other than your apartment. There are so many great things about the Beacon, mostly the interactions with the staff have made it so welcoming.
