I worked with one of the realtors employed by AFHSI by the name of Rachel Roop Harpe whom represented me in a home purchase. My experience with her as a realtor was limited—I located the property myself, and her role primarily involved handling the transaction paperwork. After the sale closed, I became aware of conduct on her part that I found deeply concerning and unprofessional. In an unrelated social media dispute that had nothing to do with real estate, she involved herself in a situation where she assisted a third party in creating a false Facebook comment about my business. That comment had the potential to cause serious harm and could have jeopardized my livelihood. I found this behavior unethical, inappropriate, and inconsistent with the professional standards expected of someone in a client-facing, fiduciary role. Engaging in conduct that supports false statements about a current or former client reflects extremely poor judgment and a disregard for professional ethics. I share this experience so others can make an informed decision and exercise caution when working with someone who would participate in actions that could harm or attempt to slander an actual client.

Marisa Green was our realtor and found us our DREAM HOUSE. Marisa made sure that we were able to lock in the house without getting into a bidding war, which was huge in this crazy market. She was so patient with us and is extremely knowledgeable and personable, which made the whole process enjoyable. I always felt comfortable making big decisions about the purchase because she explained everything and made sure we understood it all. I would 100% recommend her to friends and family

I completely DISCOURAGE using Betsy Meagher and Mary Corder for real estate needs. My experience with them was extremely frustrating, opaque and unprofessional. I found a property that seemed perfect for my family and decided to proceed with the application process. As someone with a long rental history and having owned two homes, I’ve never encountered so much unnecessary paperwork or hurdles when applying for a rental. I completed all the required paperwork and promptly responded to Betsy and Mary’s requests. However, simple questions, such as asking for the move-in date, were repeatedly ignored. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and overall lack of transparency led me to believe they are more interested in collecting application fees from multiple prospective renters to boost their revenue than actually helping clients secure a home. Despite the property being on the market for over 60 days, I never heard back from Betsy or Mary after submitting my application payment. Given the lack of response and professionalism, I strongly advise finding an agent who respects your time and money and is committed to serving your best interests—not just their own.
