We hired LILY TU (TH Design and Staging) for staging through our listing manager. Very unprofessional and the issues below affected our whole experience. 1. On the day when she removed her items after the staging period ended, around $915 worth of our new furniture was taken “unintentionally.” Communication afterward was delayed and inconsistent, and we did not receive clear explanations—only false statements denying responsibility, which caused further delays. 2. Payment for the staging service was handled only through Zelle, and we could not find any website or online business information, which made it difficult to verify the legitimacy of the service. 3. She repeatedly changed her statements about pickup schedules and avoided taking responsibility, which caused unnecessary stress and delays. Her insistence on providing only $200 as compensation, without ever acknowledging her mistakes or offering an apology, felt completely unprofessional.

Don't do business with this Redfin office, unless you are willing to handle all problems or issues by your self. be careful before you sign any buyer agreement with Redfin agent. be aware hidden charges, none discloses which would cost you thousand $$$.

First, let me start off by saying, I have had very good luck with Redfin Agents and their coordinators in the past, as I’ve used Redfin for over 6 buy and sell transactions - in California and Hawaii. However, this last transaction in san francisco was frought with miscommunication and mistakes between Redfin (Joshua Altman Realtor, Erika Ortiz Ornelas transaction coordinator) and First American Title (Liz Paglinawan escrow officer and Geoff Yep support). Information I gave for contacts on HOA were not conveyed between the teams, causing delays and extra work, Redfin commission was charged at 3% when it was documented in the listing agreement as 1.5%. Buyer requested to buy some of my personal property in the unit and Buyer I was given the option as how to receive payment- I requested cash payment to avoid bad check or complicating escrow docs. Instead they posted it in the escrow docs, had title company reject the approach, and hours before the final walk thru still had not paid for the personal property I purposely fid not move since they said they wanted it. If buyers refused to pay, I’d have to hire a second moving company to move these large items - since I had packed and moved before the walk thru, as Buyer requested. Ultimately, at the walk thru, cash was brought , as I had originally requested, otherwise I would not allow the final walkthrough- the day be for close of escrow. Undue stress, delays, rework, and effort was spent unnecessarily. This “team of professionals - Redfin and First American Title, did not perform up to expectations I have experienced in the past. Over 10 days past escrow close, I still haven’t received the Redfin survey request, normally received less than a week after closing; I’m told it is a “glitch” in their system, why I was not sent it. Sometimes, it’s the people behind the companies we work with that make or break our faith in professionalism and successful execution.

We wanted to see homes in Galt, CA and the realtor from Redfin told us to go and see open houses, not the properties we were interested in. We will use an Zillow agent which was much nicer and knowledgeable.

I am trying to call to Redfin's head office in San Francisco CA, but they never pick up the phone or do not have even voice mail. Is there any reason Redfin never answer their phone line?
