We first heard about Ron through two of our friends who highly recommended him. After nearly one year of property searching, we are extremely thrilled with the home we purchased in San Francisco. I have summarized various reasons why I enjoy working with Ron as follows, 1. Market knowledge: Ron has been in the San Francisco real estate market for nearly 20 years and is extremely plugged into the market. For the numerous houses that we have seen together, he will always have his own point of view when it comes to how much the house is worth. He always urges us not only to think about the entry price but also think about the exit price. 2. Negotiation skill: Ron truly has his client's best interest, which is something you don't find in every real estate agent. He treats every transaction like his own investment; hence, he makes sure that buyers don't overpay and sellers don't undersell. He is a well-seasoned negotiator, and doesn't shy away from tough negotiations and is not afraid of being aggressive in order to obtain the best outcome for his clients. 3. Extensive network in the real estate industry: Ron knows everyone in the industry. We were able to obtain an extremely favorable loan because Ron pointed us to the right person to speak with. He gave us numerous recommendations for anything house-related. As other reviews have pointed out, Ron knows all the real estate agents in San Francisco, which could be beneficial during negotiation. We truly had a very pleasant experience with Ron, and we have referred two of our friends to Ron already. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a real estate agent to speak with Ron before making their decision on which agent to use.

Ron and his team were great. Ron put a lot of thought into how to make our property the most appealing. He provided a lot of options. Some of his suggestions we were able to complete ourselves, some his staff helped out with and for the staging Ron provided quotes from two different staging companies and allowed us to choose. Ron's team guided us through the each of the steps, always very responsive and so we always knew exactly where we were in the process. We had an offer after being on the market for about a week, and we sold for over asking. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Polaris

We had the pleasure of recently working with Ron Abta to sell our San Francisco home.  Below are some of the highlights of our experience: TRUSTWORTHY AND RESPONSIVE: Ron came highly recommended to us by a friend who works in the industry.  Instantly upon meeting Ron, we felt that we would be in good hands.  Because we were moving to Seattle, we quite literally left our home in the hands of Ron and the Polaris team.  Ron's communication made us comfortable and confident throughout the process of renovating and selling our home. CONNECTIONS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ron is clearly very experienced and connected in the San Francisco real estate market.  This helped us navigate the sale during an unpredictable time in the setting of rising interest rates.  He was also able to arrange contractors who turned around an amazing refurb on our home in a short period of time.  Throughout the process he involved us in the decision making, but we really relied on his expertise to guide the decisions. We are only sorry that we can't have Ron here with us in Seattle to purchase our new home.  But thanks to the efforts of the Polaris team, we have a great financial foundation to get started with.

Ron and his team were excellent and pro-active in selling our properties during the pandemic. They were diligent in extensively marketing the homes, following up and eventually translating the warm leads in a completed transaction. Ron's a seasoned and professional agent who has a mature approach to home selling as a sellers agent while keeping the home owners interest foremost. I highly recommend him.

Ron was the Polaris guiding us onto the path to our dream home. We couldn't have done it with Ron. We're so glad that we worked with Ron. First and foremost, Ron makes you feel comfortable and at ease during the entire process. He was there to help us, as a friend, and sometimes he feels like a family member. He's patient and attentive. We were on the market for nearly over a year during these unprecedented times when open houses were not easily accessible. Ron was always patient with every request and every question of numerous (possibly unreasonable or stupid) ones we had. He's very responsive at all hours. Ron has superb communication skills and is great with people. He quickly understands our needs and wants and puts those into descriptions which we could use to filter out houses that aren't great matches. He connects with us and other agents in no time. Ron has an excellent reputation at least in the SF community (we were house hunting only in the SF market) which we benefited tremendously because a good reputation and network helps deals to close. Almost every agent that we met who knew Ron told us how lucky we were. They're absolutely right! We feel so proud to be Ron's clients. Ron's reputation helped us to have a seat at the table, and his negotiation skills helped us to gain an upper hand. :) Ron has a deep understanding of real estate and the economical market. His micro- and macro-economics knowledge and analytical skills safeguarded us from overbidding. This is extremely useful in this supercompetitive market that has been and remains unpredictable. Although we were on the market for over a year, there was no single time that we overbid any house. Ron never pressured us to (against his best interest) and in fact, he even stopped us from overbidding. Ron pays attention to details. He reviews all disclosure documents and closing documents carefully and thoroughly. He visits all houses himself and shares with us his expert review opinions. Ron is focused on getting us the right house. He quickly learned our preferences and needs, and he advises us to focus only on the right ones and pulled us from all the distractions and noises (wrong neighborhood, houses with aesthetic appeals but with red flags, etc.) according to our budget and desired life style. Ron has also built a great team that was professional, patient, and responsive. His team shepherd us through a smooth transition and provided useful information to settle into our new place. It was obvious that his team is happy and loves what they do because Ron loves what he does. His passion and discipline even influence me to become a better professional so that my clients can rely on me the way I relied on Ron. You can't go wrong with working with Ron. Ron's a great person and real estate agent for his integrity, patience, knowledge, and customer service. We're a little sad after the house hunting was over because we could no longer "hang out" with Ron.
