As first time home buyers, we were really skeptical of all the processes, documents, and the financial aspects. We were just looking around to see if anything fell into our budget and choices. We met a few agents and we dropped our plan to buy and thought of moving to another rental. Luckily we got in touch with Ann through one of our friends, and at the same time we found a house that we liked. Ann made great sense in all the steps, from selecting one of the houses to writing the offer. She is experienced and she knows what it takes to get that first house. She helped us get the house we wanted. Now that we have moved into our first home, we are really excited and thankful to Ann for her support and guidance, without which this would not have been possible. Thanks Ann.

We worked with Ken Fox for about 6 months to find our home. As you know, the East Bay market is hot right now, and Ken was so helpful at helping us cast a wide net to find the right place. Part agent, part neighborhood expert, part therapist, Ken got us through the process. He was able to make himself available to show us properties, helped us craft a strong offer, gave a good mortgage broker referral - pretty much an all in one shop! Highly recommended. Would do it again, just not for another 5-7 years :) Thanks Ken!

We have had the privilege of working with Ken Fox on three real estate transactions over the last two years. Ken is incredibly hard working, was responsive to our inquiries and suggestions regarding both the sale and purchase of our properties, well-connected within the industry, and driven to close deals in a timely manner. Our first transaction with Ken involved the purchase of a condo in Jack London Square. Because the transaction was a short sale, it took approximately six months to close. He worked closely with the seller’s agent in coordination with the bank’s processing team to ensure the bank had all the documents it requested to timely process the transaction. Because not all short sales transactions are guaranteed to close, he tirelessly continued to show us properties until we finally closed on our original deal. We recently decided to sell the condo, and did not hesitate to use Ken as our agent. He worked closely with other real estate professionals to stage and show the condo. After less than two weeks on the market, we received multiple offers, and chose one which was almost 12 percent over asking. We also used Ken to purchase our new home. Our search was concentrated to an extremely competitive part of the East Bay. When we finally found our family’s home, we were faced with a short contingency period and an incredibly aggressive seller’s agent. Ken successfully negotiated a solid seller’s credit for repairs and closing costs. He also maintained a professional relationship with all parties throughout the transaction. In closing, I would recommend Ken to all of my friends and family for their real estate transactions. His knowledge of the industry, business acumen, and common sense approach set him apart from the numerous agents we met with before him.

Ann helped us make our dream of buying a loft-like home in Jack London Square a reality. Her patience and calm demeanor were a welcome change to the stressful combination of buying and selling at the same time. She answered any question we had, set our expectations appropriately, and even offered me some calming advice when I found myself frustrated with the agent selling our previous home. She has great experience with real estate and strong knowledge of east bay/oakland neighborhoods. I would recommend her to any family looking to buy in the area.
