I have hired Lourie for the purchase of two homes. For the first home, Lourie was the listing agent on a property, and I was the buyer. I asked her if she could be my agent as well, and I was not disappointed. She was very responsive throughout the entire process and kept me informed every step of the way. I believe that she dealt with me in a very fair manner, despite the fact of being the listing agent. Even after the deal was done, she answered all of my questions and even offered to send her handyman over to look at a couple of things. I liked her so much that I hired her as my agent for a second home purchase. She was patient and kind with me, she helped me problem-solve, and offered good advice. As an investor, I have dealt with many agents who do not seem to have my best interest at heart. With Lourie, I don't have to worry about that, and that is the most important aspect in considering whom I hire. She does her best to negotiate with the other party during the bidding process as well as for repairs and credits and has shown over time that she wants me to be happy with the process and the purchase. It helps that she has experience in the real estate business and can help guide you through even construction and contractual issues.
